Rachel Barker is a recognized leader in the intersection of construction and technology — an Oracle ACE award recipient (2003 & 2004) celebrated for advancing database innovation, performance tuning, and integration architecture within the AEC industry.

With over two decades of hands-on experience in the construction industry spanning accounting management, ERP implementation, analytics, application development, data architecture, and integration, Rachel’s career bridges the technical and operational worlds. Her early background in forensic accounting and business intelligence gave her a forensic approach to problem-solving — one that uncovers not just what is wrong in a system, but why. That analytical precision now drives Impact Integrated’s approach to secure, reliable, and human-centered technology for construction organizations.

As a long-standing contributor to the CMiC Users Group, Rachel has led multiple product and development committees — including founding the Development, Analytics & BI, Workflow, and Assets/Equipment groups — where she continues to mentor professionals and influence product direction across the CMiC ecosystem . Her conference sessions have become a resource for technical professionals seeking practical clarity on topics like database performance, workflow automation, and low-budget innovation using APEX and ORDS.
